A Case Report of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

Abstract
The Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a hereditary symptom complex consisting of fragility of the skin and blood vessels and extreme laxity of the skin and joints.
Edvard Ehlers (1863-1937), a German dermatologist, in 1901, was the first to describe the syndrome which included laxity of the skin and joints associated with a tendency to hemorrhage.
In 1908, Henri Alexandre Danlos(1884-1912), French physician, described a syndrome of laxity of the skin with tumors about the elbows and knees resulting from chronic contusions.
This case of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome in a 25 years old soldier is reported who presented the hyperelasticity of skin and the laxtity of joints without the remarkable roentgenogram and the fragility of blood. vessels.
